What Our Garden Maintenance Service Covers
The recurring work scopes we handle for homes, rental properties, and commercial sites across Sydney.
We look after the recurring outdoor work that stops a garden from drifting between expensive resets. Mowing, edging, hedge trimming, pruning, weed suppression, and seasonal adjustments are scoped to the property and scheduled at a frequency that matches the growth rate, not a fixed calendar. Most of our maintenance clients are on fortnightly or monthly visits, but we also take one-off bookings when a garden needs to be brought back under control before regular upkeep can start. Sam and Chad have been running maintenance rounds across Sydney since 1995, and the approach has always been the same: show up on schedule, do what the garden actually needs that visit, and leave the site clean.

What Garden Maintenance Covers
The main upkeep tasks, practical add-ons, and related services commonly bundled with scheduled maintenance.
Recurring Maintenance Plans
Set up a visit schedule that matches your property rather than a generic roster. We adjust scope each visit based on growth, season, and what the garden actually needs that fortnight or month, so you are not paying for work that does not need doing.
Lawn Mowing and Edging
Keep grass areas healthy and presentable with consistent mowing heights, clean edge lines along beds and paths, and seasonal adjustments for growth rate. We bring our own equipment and remove clippings.
Pruning, Trimming and Hedge Management
Maintain shrubs, hedges, and boundary planting at a manageable size and shape between larger garden jobs. Regular trimming prevents the kind of overgrowth that turns a simple prune into a half-day recovery.
Weed Control and Plant Health
Stay on top of weeds before they seed and spread, feed beds and lawn areas seasonally, and catch early signs of pest or disease pressure so small problems do not turn into replanting jobs.
Irrigation Checks and Seasonal Adjustments
Spot watering issues, adjust sprinkler coverage, and shift maintenance priorities as conditions change through the year. Catching a failed zone in October is cheaper than replacing turf in February.
Overgrowth Recovery and Reset Visits
Bring a neglected garden back to a maintainable baseline after strong growth, missed visits, or a change of tenancy. Once the reset is done, regular upkeep can resume at a normal frequency.
Presentation Work Around Hard Surfaces
Combine garden maintenance visits with blowing, sweeping, and surface tidying around paths, driveways, and entry areas so the whole property reads as maintained, not just the planted sections.

How Garden Maintenance Works
Four stages from initial property assessment to ongoing seasonal care.
- 01
Step 01
Property Assessment
We walk the garden, note lawn condition, hedge lines, bed health, weed pressure, and any drainage or access issues. You tell us what matters most and how the outdoor space is used.
- 02
Step 02
Schedule and Scope Setup
You receive a recommended visit frequency, a clear scope for each visit, and straightforward pricing. Nothing starts until the plan suits the property and the budget.
- 03
Step 03
Recurring Visits
Our crew arrives on schedule, completes the agreed work, adjusts scope based on what the garden needs that visit, and leaves the site tidy with all waste removed.
- 04
Step 04
Seasonal Adjustments
We shift priorities through the year: heavier mowing and edging in spring and summer, pruning and clean-ups in autumn, reduced visits over winter. The schedule tracks actual growth, not a fixed calendar.

Garden Maintenance FAQs
Answers to common pre-quote questions
A typical maintenance visit covers lawn mowing, edging, hedge trimming, light pruning, weed removal, and a general tidy of beds, paths, and hard surface edges. We adjust the scope each visit based on growth, season, and any specific requests. Larger tasks like heavy pruning, planting, or green waste removal from storm damage can be added when needed.
Most Sydney gardens perform best on a fortnightly cycle during the warmer months and a monthly visit over winter. Properties with fast-growing hedges, large lawn areas, or strata presentation requirements often stay fortnightly year-round. We recommend a frequency after inspecting your property and adjust it seasonally rather than locking you into a schedule that does not match actual growth.
Yes. One-off visits are common when a garden has been let go and needs a reset before regular maintenance starts, or ahead of a property sale, lease inspection, or tenancy changeover. We scope the one-off visit separately and can transition to a recurring plan afterwards if it makes sense.
Yes. We maintain private homes, rental properties, small strata complexes, and commercial grounds across Sydney. Commercial and strata work is typically scheduled on a set day each fortnight or month so property managers can plan around it.
Let us know within 48 hours and we will return to address the issue at no extra charge. Most concerns are resolved the same week. If something is consistently not meeting your expectations, we would rather adjust the scope or frequency than have you put up with a service that is not working.
We use battery-powered equipment where practical, mulch garden beds to reduce water loss and suppress weeds, and select fertilisers and treatments that are appropriate for the soil and planting rather than applying a blanket chemical program. Green waste from maintenance visits is removed and processed through licensed recycling facilities.
