Service Overview

What Our High Pressure Cleaning Service Covers

Common cleaning scopes for driveways, paving, walls, decks, and exterior surfaces across Sydney.

We pressure clean driveways, paving, walls, fences, decks, and pool surrounds across Sydney using equipment matched to the surface being cleaned. Concrete and brick handle higher pressures that cut through oil stains, tyre marks, and years of built-up grime. Sandstone, rendered surfaces, and timber decks need lower pressures and wider fan tips to clean without etching or lifting the finish. Most residential jobs are completed in a single day. Sam and Chad have been delivering outdoor property services across Sydney since 1995, and pressure cleaning is one of the fastest ways we help property owners recover presentation that has slipped over time, particularly before a sale, after building work, or ahead of a summer entertaining season.

What Pressure Cleaning Work Includes

The main surface types, cleaning methods, and related services we commonly deliver alongside pressure cleaning.

Driveway and Path Cleaning

Remove oil stains, tyre marks, mould, and ground-in grime from concrete and paved driveways, paths, and garage aprons. We use higher pressures on concrete and lower pressures on exposed aggregate or pavers to clean without damaging the surface or dislodging jointing sand.

Wall, Fence, and Rendered Surface Cleaning

Clean brick, block, rendered, and Colorbond fences and boundary walls that have built up mould, algae, or watermark staining. Rendered surfaces are cleaned at reduced pressure with fan tips to avoid pitting the finish. We protect adjacent garden beds and redirect runoff away from planting.

Deck, Patio, and Pool Surround Cleaning

Restore timber decks, composite decking, and tiled or paved pool surrounds that have become slippery with algae or leaf tannin staining. We adjust pressure and tip angle for the material so the surface comes up clean without raising timber grain or cracking grout lines.

Paving and Hardscape Refresh

Bring paved courtyards, entertaining areas, and stepping-stone paths back to their original finish as a standalone clean or alongside re-sanding and sealing. Pressure cleaning before a paving resand produces a better result because joints are cleared out properly before new sand is swept in.

Pre-Sale, Post-Build, and Seasonal Resets

Use pressure cleaning as a finishing step when the property needs to present well for photos, open inspections, or handover. We combine surface cleaning with garden tidy-ups and green waste removal so the whole outdoor area is ready in one visit.

Ongoing Exterior Maintenance

Schedule pressure cleaning alongside regular garden maintenance visits to keep driveways, paths, and entertaining areas presentable year-round. In shaded or south-facing areas across Sydney, mould and algae return within six to twelve months, so a planned clean avoids the slow build-up that makes surfaces slippery and tired-looking.

Our Process

How a Pressure Cleaning Job Works

Four steps from site assessment to a clean, inspected finish.

  1. 01

    Step 01

    Quote and Surface Assessment

We inspect the surfaces, identify the material types, note the staining or growth present, and check drainage and access. You receive a written quote covering the agreed scope, estimated duration, and any pre-treatment requirements.

  2. 02

    Step 02

    Prep and Protection

We cover garden beds, screen adjacent planting, move loose items clear, and set up water management so runoff is directed away from drains and planted areas. Surfaces with heavy mould or oil staining are pre-treated and left to dwell before cleaning starts.

  3. 03

    Step 03

Clean - Pressure Matched to Surface

We clean each surface at the correct pressure and tip setting for the material. Concrete and brick take higher pressures. Sandstone, render, timber, and composite surfaces are cleaned at lower pressures with wider fans. We work in sections and manage water flow across the site.

  4. 04

    Step 04

    Rinse, Inspect, and Tidy

We rinse all cleaned surfaces and adjacent areas with clean water, inspect the results in natural light, and address any spots that need a second pass. Equipment is packed out, covers removed, and the site is left tidy and safe to use.

FAQs

High Pressure Water Cleaning FAQs

Answers to common pre-quote questions

We clean concrete driveways, brick and block paving, sandstone, rendered walls, timber decks, composite decking, Colorbond fences, tiled pool surrounds, garage floors, retaining walls, and exterior cladding. Each surface needs a different pressure setting and tip. Concrete handles 3,000+ PSI while sandstone and timber typically need 1,200 to 1,800 PSI with a wider fan to avoid etching or grain damage. We assess the surface on site and match the equipment to the material.

Yes, when the pressure and technique are matched to the surface. Damage from pressure cleaning almost always comes from using too much pressure on a soft material or holding the nozzle too close. We use adjustable machines, multiple tip sizes, and vary the working distance depending on whether we are cleaning concrete, sandstone, timber, or render. We also protect garden beds, cover downlights or low fixtures, and redirect water away from areas that should stay dry.

Most residential jobs take between two and six hours depending on the total area, the number of different surfaces involved, and how heavy the staining is. A standard two-car driveway with moderate mould build-up typically takes two to three hours. A full property clean covering driveway, paths, patio, and fences is usually a single-day job. We confirm estimated duration in the quote so you know what to expect.

For most Sydney properties, every twelve to eighteen months keeps surfaces in good condition. Properties with heavy shade, south-facing walls, or proximity to bushland tend to build mould and algae faster and benefit from an annual clean. Coastal properties also accumulate salt residue that dulls surfaces more quickly. Driveways with regular vehicle use may need attention sooner if oil or tyre marks are a concern. We can recommend a schedule after seeing the property.

For most surfaces, water pressure alone does the job. For heavy mould, embedded algae, or oil stains we use targeted pre-treatments applied to the affected area before cleaning. We do not use broad-application chemical washes across the whole site. Runoff is managed on site and directed away from storm drains and garden beds in line with Sydney Water guidelines.

Oil stains and tyre marks on concrete respond well to pressure cleaning, especially when we pre-treat with a degreaser and let it dwell before cleaning. Fresh stains lift more completely than old, deeply absorbed ones. Long-standing oil stains may lighten significantly but can leave a shadow depending on how porous the concrete is and how long the oil has been sitting. We will be upfront about expected results during the quote so there are no surprises.
